Default The Effectiveness of Smite-monk/ranger

Hello. I have been using the Smitemonk/ranger build for a while and it has worked real great. The build can be effective with three or four skills, and people will like you for hard rez abilities. [bane signet] along with some other spells that creates knockdown, along with [hunter's shot] on bosses is great. A hard rez like [resurrection] is good to add. [retribution], [poison arrow], and [kindle arrow] are good to add with this. Any thoughts?

let me reword my 1st quote to ur OP

People that go to PVX lack the know how "or brian" needed to make a usable build that is viable. Coming to places like guru you will learn about your class and you will become better player. Going to PVX you will not learn any thing keeping you skills as a player just as low before copy pasting a temp code

skills you need 9 not 8

That is enough from the Trolls, thanks very much. You know who you are.

smitemonkranger. If you want to play a Ranger, play a Ranger, but in all honesty the skill combinations you talk about do not really work that well together, and if you noticed any of the responses I just deleted, are highly ridiculed by the community.

Can people please provide constructive comments otherwise this topic will have to be locked down.

I lack the brian so I go to pvxbuilds. For the life of me I can't make a good build.

Hold on. My mate wodger, can't get out. Best ask my girlfriend to welease him.

K back. Yeah pvxbuilds is great, just type in ursan and your set for every single pve your likely to face.

Little point in running down the builds on pvx or the people who use them, so I won't.

It's a place that's good for ideas you just need to adjust them to your own liking.

I reckon even the expert who has played since gw day 1 can find something they hadn't thought of.

As for the OPs build well if you don't experiment you don't learn anything .
I think you may be better off selecting the ranger attacks from one area rather than 2.
At the moment your putting points into marksmanship and Wilderness survival.

If your trying for knockdowns then maybe run with a pet a decent number of points into that will give you a pretty resilliant pet and there are several knockdown skills in bm.

Or in Wilderness survival you might find the elite skill Melandru's Resilience pretty useful for a Monk
